Ever since their dreamy engagement session, I have been looking forward to Courtney and Daniel’s big day. It was so much fun recreating their images at Land O Goshen Farm and catching some brand new moments between the now husband and wife. It was perfect then, and possibly even more so now.
When I say I have been looking forward to it, I’m severely understating my excitement. I’ve known for over a year now that this day was going to be exquisite. One: because Land O Goshen Farm makes me feel like I’m back in Europe and two: because Daniel and Courtney are seriously the sweetest. Oh! And three: because I got to work with some of my most favorite vendors. I'm pretty sure I still smell like fresh eucalyptus and I'm loving it. 9-24-22 was timeless at its finest.
Courtney is perhaps the only person I know who can be so classy and yet so fun and sassy at the same time. She’s so much the opposite of a bridezilla that it made me feel very relaxed and overjoyed to be a part of her and Daniel’s day. And speaking of the groom, Daniel matches Courtney’s upbeat-yet-laid-back personality perfectly. I love the way he looked at her as she walked down the aisle, absolutely beaming with pride. And why wouldn’t he be? Courtney was stunning, down to the very last detail. The florals, the hair piece, the VEIL… I cannot get enough. I am in love with the high contrast colors they chose. The black, white, and tan is such a beautiful, classic combination and the splash of deep green was just the thing my photographing heart needed. As swoon-worthy as these things were, though, I’m confident that Daniel would have been just as proud if Courtney had walked down the aisle in a potato sack.
Mr. & Mrs. Murphy, I loved getting to be a part of this. It was magical. I hope you two always seek out each other in a room full of people the same way I watched you do over and over again on your wedding day. You are each other's safe place and it's so heartwarming to watch.
As you relive your day in just a few pictures, please know that every plan you made, every vendor contract you signed, every invitation you sent, every candle you lit, and every detail you added was absolutely worth it. Your day was perfect, right down to the weather, and I know your marriage will be even more.
