DUSTIN & MADELYNN | AN INTIMATE FOREST WEDDING

In the last five years, I've experienced so many full wedding days. Several 8-hour weddings, 10, 11, even 13+ hour wedding days. And while I absolutely live for those days, I got to experience a slightly different wedding day this week. Dustin and Madelynn said their vows to each other while standing barefoot in the forest surrounded by just a few of the people who mean the most to them.

Although I'm used to the long days, dozens of details, and hundreds of hands clapping when the bride and groom share their first kiss, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the emotion of pledging your life to someone is just as special no matter who you're with or where you are. As Dustin and Madelynn prove, as long as you have the right one by your side, every moment is the moment of a lifetime.

Every single giggle between the bride and groom, every tear that a family member wiped away, every butterfly that flew by, and every bout of pure open-mouthed laugher was magical. Audience or not.

Thank you all for inviting me to be a part of your big day. Madelynn, you were such a stunning bride and Dustin clearly agrees. I wish you so many happy days ahead!
