JAKE COLE | SENIOR 2020

Updated: Nov 10, 2020

Senior year is such a whirlwind of a time. Extremely exciting, a little bittersweet, but also kind of stressful. I remember always having somewhere to go and something to do; constantly juggling different activities and responsibilities. Fast forward 5 1/2 years, and I’m shooting senior portraits for someone who knows exactly what it feels like to wear many different hats (and one baseball cap).

Jake Cole is a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, an athlete, a student... but under every one of those many hats is one respectable, genuine, young man. Just to give you a little insight as to what kind of a person he is:

Every time I told a family member or friend that I was shooting Jake Cole on Wednesday, they replied with something like, “I like Jake Cole. He’s a good kid.” Or, “That Jake Cole is a good guy.” Or, “Oh, I love Jake Cole!”

And I can say that I agree with those sentiments! For as long as I’ve known him (essentially his whole life), Jake’s been the kind of person you want to be around. Even while taking pictures, he was so upbeat. Always laughing and so polite.

I know senior year can be daunting, and sometimes it’s hard to look into the future when there’s so much to do today, but you’re going to go on to do great things, Mr. Cole! I’m excited to watch you do them and I’m honored to capture this time in your life!
