Looking through these images, one word keeps replaying in my mind: precious. The new Mr. and Mrs. Eversole are absolutely precious.
A few months ago, I got a call from an unknown number in Kentucky. I answer, and a sweet woman introduced herself as Joyce. She said she was going to marry Terry Eversole and that she wanted to book me for their wedding. She paid in full over the phone. The kicker? They weren't engaged yet!
I was absolutely honored. Sure enough, shortly after that phone call, I got a text that Terry had popped the question. October 5th has already come and gone. While these two lovebirds are living their best lives honeymooning in Hawaii, I've been swooning over their precious images. The entire day was truly a celebration. A celebration of their relationship, the paths that had brought them together, and the family they were creating.
My favorite images are of their ceremony. We all rejoiced with them as they said their vows and kneeled before each other, following the example of our Lord Jesus, to wash each other’s feet. I've been blessed to capture some powerful images, but nothing will ever beat being able to capture the exact moment that is a result of years of prayer and hope. The relief, the joy, and the gratitude that can be felt just by looking at a photograph is the magic that keeps me loving this job.
I'm elated to share this glimpse into their big day. It was truly an honor, Terry and Joyce, and I'm so excited for your future together.
