Every single wedding I have the privilege of photographing, I think to myself, "this has got to be the most beautiful bride ever". And every single time, I think that maybe I'm biased. Well thanks to Emily and JP's wedding day, I now know that it's not just me who thinks that. The new Mr. and Mrs. Young transformed their acres and acres of rolling hills into a beautiful wedding wonderland, the perfect place for 300 or so of their closest friends and family to come watch them say, "I do". But this crowd didn't just watch. Never, never before have I seen such an excited group of guests. As Emily walked down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband, you would have thought she was a celebrity in front of the paparazzi. Every one was cheering, whistling, taking videos, crying, and dropping their jaws. JP's reaction didn't disappoint either. The hype for this couple was through the roof and it was so amazing to watch.
Despite having hundreds and hundreds of eyes on them, Emily and JP looked at each other like they were the only two people on Earth. Their sweet embraces at the alter and every glance at each other the rest of the night showed how crazy they are about each other. I know they'll grow old together, but after watching them on their wedding day, I really can't picture them being anything other than young and in love. They're each other's biggest cheerleaders. They're best friends. They're partners in crime and, now, in life.
JP and Emily, you both are so loved. Not only by each other, but by the plethora of supporters who shared this day with you. It was heartwarming to witness and I'm grateful to have been a small part of it.
Here's to a lifelong celebration. Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Young.
